I'd like to take a moment to talk about comic books.
You're talking about comic books? That never happens!
I know right? Anyway more specifically I want to talk about buying them.
Yeah would it kill you to cut back a little? I mean we run our butts off some days helping out just for a little extra scratch and instead of saving up you always run out and spend it on stuff.
It wouldn't kill me but it would probably hurt alot of other people.
I'm not following.
These days so much is becoming digital, Digital comics, direct to download movies and music, even video games. While the convenience is nice people sometimes forget who's being put out of a job, from the people at the base level which are the stores, to the people higher up who actually put the products together. Even the artists and writers themselves are getting paid less because the companies know that they have the upper hand in negotiations.

Seriously...I know that comic books and stuff are getting expensive these days, but a large part of that is advertising too ya know? Those big full page ads for stuff in the books that distract from the actual story help drive down costs a little because the companies are run by old guys and that's how the old guys understand business.

And seriously if you're gonna complain about your favorite series getting canceled then maybe you should have paid for it! I mean I'm no stranger to sampling the product but if you enjoy reading the comic would it kill you to lay down the green and support the guys who made it instead of downloading it all for free?
