Seeing as you have prior experience...

My diet excludes certain kinds of meat. However, once I change into a komodo dragon, I have this overwhelming urge for raw red meat. To digest it as a human would make me very ill. Would eating this meat as a komodo dragon affect me as badly as it would as a human?

Additionally, as a cold-blooded lizard, would I die of exposure in Meria?

So I'm writing this novel, and I thought it might be fun to write about a guy who involuntarily changes into a seahorse. I'm having problems fixing a couple of his problems though: He can't breathe the air, so his friends throw him into water, but then he has wet clothes when he changes back so he gets cold, he gets sick. How should I help the poor guy out?
